DIY: Spa treatment!

Hello beauty geeks!

I’m sure I speak for every woman when I say that sometimes all we need to do is take some time off from either the busy routine of our lives or just some time off from the emotional drama that is a given in every woman’s life.
So today, I’m going to share with you some of the things that I usually do to relax and pamper myself.
1) The soothing mask:

This consists of honey, yogurt and oats in equal quantity mixed together. The oats in this mask acts as a scrub that clears out the dirt that is mainly caused to the skin due of pollution. Since I have dry skin I like adding honey to the mask to tone down the dryness of my skin, if you have oily or normal skin then I suggest you don’t add honey to your mask. Yogurt is mainly to sooth the stressed out skin.

Keep this mask on for 10-12 minutes and rinse off with cold water. You can apply this mask every 2 weeks or at least once a month.
2) The olive oil hair treatment:

Olive oil is known for repairing split ends and is actually considered very healthy for the scalp. I personally like heating up the olive oil just for about 30-50 seconds and then gently massaging the scalp for about 10 minutes. Wrap a damp, warm towel around the head and leave it on for about 45 minutes.
Finally, rinse it off with shampoo, this usually takes more than 2 rounds, depending on the quantity of oil that you’ve applied.
3) The sugar rush hand treatment:

Scrub for about 15 minutes and rinse off with warm water. This leaves you with soft & pretty hands. Make sure to add about 2 table spoons of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 teaspoon of olive oil.
Don’t forget to apply some moisturizer to those pretty hands in order to maintain the softness.
So hope this helps!
