Review: GOSH Make up!

Hello beauty geeks!

Last week I was invited by the Team Gosh for a free make over session with their very talented make up artist, Paul; he did my make up and later on I was given a brief on all the make up products and sent home with some of their amazing products. Today I will be reviewing the products for you lovely people. The best part about GOSH cosmetics is that their products are preservative free, perfume free, cruelty free and paraben free.

GOSH Primer Plus + Base Plus:

To be honest, I didn’t know how important it is to have a primer on before applying the actual foundation. I always thought primers were important to apply on the eyes to have long lasting eye make up. But thanks to Paul, I’ve realized how important it is to apply a primer before putting on the foundation. The GOSH Primer plus + Base Plus 003 Hydration comes in a 30 ML tube. The one that I use is ‘hydration’ mainly because I have super dry skin and after applying this primer, my skin feels moist enough to hold the rest of the make up on my face without any cake like texture. Moreover, it contains snow algae which is an anti aging skin care ingredient found in snowy alpine regions.

GOSH #Foundation Drops:

The GOSH #Foundation Drops in the shade 008 Honey comes in a 30 ML bottle. It’s light weight and contains Olea Europaea fruit oil which is perfect if you have dry skin. One of my favorite thing about this foundation is that it feels light on the skin and provides build able coverage. The packaging is my favorite bit, it comes in a bottle and has a dropper for application of foundation which I found pretty cool. In my opinion it’s a foundation that gives a very natural and light finish. The best part about this product is that it feels like you’re applying some sort of beauty oil on your face. By the end of the day you forget that you have make up on because of the light weight of this foundation.

GOSH Rebel Eyes Mascara:

The Gosh Rebel Eyes Long Wear Volume mascara comes in a 10 ML tube. This mascara is a part of the GOSH spring collection. It gives volume and length to the eye lashes in the first coat itself and is genuinely long lasting without any flaking. The bristles on the wand of the mascara, curl the eye lashes along with adding volume and length, and are of different sizes which ensures that the product is applied on every lash -long or small. The formula is carbon black which in my opinion adds drama to the lashes (which I happen to love!) it  doesn’t clump, no matter how many coats I apply. It also contains Sea Buck-thorn oil which protects the lashes and is perfume free.

GOSH Velvet Touch Eyeliner 007 Alligator:

The GOSH Velvet Touch Eyeliners come in plenty of different shades. The one that I own is in the shade 007 Alligator. It is a super pigmented green color which I think is beautiful for summers. The eyeliner is long lasting and waterproof, so you don’t have to worry about the heat causing smudges. It contains Vitamin E and has no perfume in it. What I like the most is the texture of this pencil, it’s very easy to apply. You don’t have to constantly line the eye. One stroke is good enough as the color pigmentation is fantastic.

GOSH Velvet Touch Matte Lipstick:

I happen to love matte lipsticks, I am not a fan of the sheer glossy ones. The shade that I own is 010 MATT Smoothie. This is a neutral shade which is perfect for everyday use. It’s not too much not too less. The texture of the lipstick is quite velvety as the name suggests and is long lasting and quite moisturizing.

Most of the products in GOSH have some sort of oils which is actually quite beneficial for the skin. So even though it is make up that you’re applying it will not be as damaging as other make up from different brands.I suggest you head over to GOSH in Lifestyle at Mall of the Emirates or Dubai Mall to try on these products for yourself. You will not be sorry!
