Product Review: Dabur Amla Cleansing Milk

Recently in my mail, I was sent a package by Dabur Amla that consisted of three types of cleansing milk for hair care. The main idea behind the product is themed on the concept of harsh detergent used in shampoos for hair care which can lead to weak and damaged hair.

A lot  of people tend to opt for shampoos based on good fragrance and not many pay attention to the ingredients. Most of the shampoos contain Sulfate which are detergents used to make the shampoo lather. About 90% of shampoos contain sulfate because they’re inexpensive to use but are super harsh on the hair and scalp.

Some of the effects of sulfate in shampoos are:

• Hair loss
• Dry Hair & Scalp
• Itchy Scalp

Dabur Amla hair cleansing milk is made from a special Sulfate free formula that cleans and nourishes like a shampoo, but is gentle on the scalp and hair.

The product comes in a 400 ml bottle and has a fresh summer fragrance. In my opinion, this product definitely feels gentler on my hair , I’ve tried the one for dry and rough hair because summer in Dubai can be really bad for hair and skin, and I definitely saw a difference in the texture of my hair. They were smoother and shinier after a few washes. Also I personally love the fragrance of this cleansing milk – very fresh! So ladies,if you want shiny and healthy hair it’s time to switch from harsh detergent shampoos to Dabur Amla cleansing milk!
