Uncertainty.

I haven’t been the best version of myself lately, and I can’t honestly tell why that is; but after a while I’ve only come to realize that at the end of the day the ball’s in your court. You decide where life takes you next. Sometimes the situation may not be ideal but you always have to find a way to work around it. 

Death doesn’t seem so real, because everyone is so involved in their lives on daily bases. But what we don’t realize is that death is all around us. It can come when you’re least expecting it. Once people realize that death exists and is uncertain, we would all end up living our lives very differently. I’m writing this post because of all the things I’ve understood this week. A fellow class-mate of mine passed away recently, she seemed perfect. She had the best heart and a lovely personality that can never be forgotten. The unfortunate part was that no one was really aware of her heart condition. And just like that, she happened to pass away (May her soul rest in peace; Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raje’oon)

Life may seem hard every now and then but it’s very important to step back and do the things you love and spend time with your loved ones. We’re all not going to live forever, this is the unfortunate truth that we keep forgetting every now and then. It’s important to not get so caught up in life that you end up giving up on your dreams and loved ones.

I’ve decided to stay inspired, to do everything that pleases me, everything that brings a smile on my face, more importantly not giving up on life all together.
