Bloglovin’ : emotional investments.

As kids, we always grow up believing that we live in a world where everybody gets along with everybody; where we’ll end up falling in love with one person and that’ll be it. Maybe the falling in love part is true; personally a part of me does believe that you happen to fall in love once and only once in your life; it all depends on one’s perspective though. However, the whole delusional concept taught to us as kids that the world is your playground and everyone’s our friend is twisted on so many levels. Growing up has taught me that people always come and go; but if that’s the case; then why do we find ourselves investing mentally and emotionally in people everyday?
