Alright fashion geeks, we all know that I’ve been obsessed with Serena Vanderwoodsen ever since Gossip Girl came out and well, ended. That doesn’t mean that I can’t talk about their fashion! Especially Serena, I mean she’s definitely a style icon and I would kill to have her wardrobe!

Here’s how you can have Serena’s wardrobe this summer!

• Invest in solid colors – prints and textures are fun but solids take careful thought and if done right, it can be pulled off successfully. (Fun fact: My personal favorite combo is royal blue and mustard yellow. I think you can never go wrong with this combo. ) Solids never go out of style! 

• Mix prints and textures – Stripes, florals, polka dots! Mix and match whatever you find, make sure they’re from the same color palette. Mixing prints and patterns is the best way to have fun with your look.
  
• Add some sparkle- statement blazers or shimmery cardigans are a must have!
