Beauty Favorites 2015 edition

Hey beauty geeks!
I’m a lil late with this post but I thought I’d post it anyway. It is some of my favorite beauty products from last year, some of which I still use. I do have to go on a make up shopping spree so there will be another post about it for now enjoy this one!

The first product that I’ve been loving is the Bourjois Paris Happy Light Foundation. This is a liquid foundation that keeps my skin hydrated for up to 8 hours. It gives great coverage and gives the skin a flawless & luminous complexion in any light. It comes in a 30 ml bottle and lasts for a while (trust me I’ve been using it for a long time now lol).  Apart from that, since I have super dry skin it also prevents the flaky texture that is mostly prominent on the face after you’ve applied a foundation.

Next is the Sephora Make up palette – the eye shadows are what I love in this palette. Super pigmented and lasts for a very long time. The palette also offers blush on, lip glosses and gel liners in different colors. But I happen to love the gold, bronze and shimmery nude eye shadows that come in this palette.

For my everyday eye liner I use the Rimmel Waterproof Exaggerate liquid eyeliner. To be honest, I’m very bad at applying eyeliner but this one is really easy to apply and it is waterproof which means it stays on. The tip of this liner is quite thin which gives it a very neat finish. So this is a MUST have.

The Inglot Eye shadow keeper & Long for Mascara are next on the list. I never really understood the importance of an eye shadow primer before but after I started using the one by Inglot – I realized how important it is to apply a primer to give the eye shadow a ‘color pop’ effect & make it last longer. For Mascara, the consistency of Inglot Long for Mascara is brilliant. It’s easy to apply and comes off easily with make up remover. Along with this, I have a habit of applying two mascaras, so the second one that I’ve been loving since forever is the Rimmel Day 2 Night Mascara black – this mascara is the closest that you will get to fake eye lashes. Makes the lashes look long and thick thanks to the dual mascara  brushes.

And finally, my favorite lip colors from last year are Photo Fix lip color in the shade 333 Plum Frost by DMGM & Mikyajy Pink lippy in the shade 06. Plum frost has been a very popular lip color last year, it’s sort of a dark wine bold color for the lips which is perfect for winters. And the Mikyajy pink lippy is sort of my everyday look color. I just like dabbing some on and it gives my lips a very subtle natural look which is perfect for a minimalist look.

So well, that is all of my favorites from last year. Hope you guys enjoyed reading this post. Do tag me in your beauty favorites, I’d love to see! 🙂
