Life | hello 2016!

After a bumpy yet calm year, I am determined to make 2016 the best year! And no, by that I don’t mean the whole ‘new year, new me’ jazz, I mean that there are a few things that I’m hoping to achieve by the end of next year. I’ve never stuck to new year’s resolutions so it’s no point making a list. But I do want to make a list of things that I’d like to do and achieve and hopefully look back and see what I managed to do. It’s very important to have goals & aims so you have something to strive for.
- Be optimistic & quit over thinking
If you know me personally, then you already know that I happen to be an over thinker. Sometimes that works in my favor cause I tend to think more than others usually do and that’s where I find some of my best ideas, but that’s rare. Usually I find myself thinking about pointless things that will not benefit me in anyway. So hopefully I’ll cut down on that.
- Don’t stress about the small stuff
Being a naturally anxious person I tend to worry about small things that usually don’t even matter. It’s important to stop stressing about the small small things in life & just live in the moment.
- Get organised with the blog
I’m constantly struggling with this one, I do blog often but I don’t have fixed days for every post, and I end up posting a lot or nothing at all. So this year, hopefully I will come up with a proper timeline.
- Give people a simple reason to remember me
By this, I don’t mean getting more followers or trying to get attention at events or whatever. I simply mean that I want to make a difference and help people out as much as I can & however I can. Always remember, even something as small as donating a few bucks or donating clothes can help. I always make it a point to donate my clothes instead of throwing ’em out.
- Eat more fruits & drink more water
This one is a constant battle. I always find myself either eating crisps or having a huge glass of soda, which is definitely not good for the skin. More oranges & water in 2016, for sure!
Here’s a list of my little challenges that I’ve set for 2016.
What are yours?
