Turning 30 is a milestone in life, and what better way to celebrate this new chapter than by exploring the enchanting city of Amsterdam? For my 30th birthday, I embarked on a journey filled with beautiful canals, delicious treats, and cultural encounters that made this trip unforgettable.
Amsterdam welcomed me with open arms, even if the weather was more on the gloomy side. Raindrops danced on the canals, adding an extra layer of charm to this brilliant city. The cozy cafes and streets lined with historical buildings seemed even more inviting against the backdrop of gray skies.
Rain or shine, Amsterdam’s beauty is undeniable. I took long walks along the serene canals, admiring the bridges and elegant houseboats. The city’s museums, like the Van Gogh Museum (wasn’t able to go in cause it was sold out but still admired it from the outside) and Moco, offered glimpses into the rich history of art and culture. I even saw the ‘Fault in Our Stars’ bench! And for some reason, that moment like many other moments, was the highlight of the trip.

In the end, Amsterdam not only gave me unforgettable moments but also helped me see the beauty in turning 30. I hope I can go there again some day just to revisit everything that I felt 🙂
